In this guide, I will be showing you how you can change your resolution in Ubuntu Desktop. This may not work on devices which don't have the correct device drivers installed. If you are using a Virtual Box VM, please try this link.

In order to follow this tutorial, you will need the following

  • Ubuntu Desktop

  • Changing your Resolution

The first thing you will need to do is open up the 'Screen Display' settings window. You can do this by clicking the icon in the top right and searching for display.

When this is open, you should be able to select your preferred resolution from the option box. You can then go ahead and click apply.

If you are happy with this, you can go ahead and select 'Keep this configuration'.
